A group of Texas insurance companies has signed on with the state to work together to improve pregnancies and birth outcomes in Texas.
file-page1Thirteen companies have joined DSHS to show a commitment to Texas families by prioritizing the health of pregnant women and babies. Working together, the group outlined strategies related to breastfeeding, C-sections, prenatal care, preterm births and low-birth weight babies.

Healthy pregnancies and better birth outcomes have long been Texas priorities. This partnership solidifies a workgroup of experts who agree to support specific ideas for healthier Texas women, children and families.
